Maths: Let'S Explore - My First Scribbles

This Workbook has been designed to facilitate children’s first mathematical experiences. It is set to complement a hands-on approach to the teaching and learning of mathematics providing the pictorial and abstract phases of the renowned Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract (CPA) Approach. The Workbook provides excellent learning opportunities for developing a solid understanding of number value and for providing the right start to number formation. The concepts of addition and subtraction are also introduced. Learning outcomes and self-evaluation tasks have also been included so that at such a tender age children begin to experience the powerful process of reflecting upon their learning.
