How to play WHOT! Harry Potter?
The aim of the game is to get rid of all the cards by matching symbols or numbers from each other. Before starting the game, shuffle the deck and deal 6 cards to each player. Use the remaining cards to make a face-up draw pile. Reveal the first card from the pile and place it in the middle. This is the matching pile from now on. The first player must add a card with the same symbol or number to the matching pile. The exception is the WHOT! Card, which replaces any symbol or number. If a player cannot match any of the cards, he takes a new card from the matching pile. The first person to get rid of all the cards wins.
Expanded Knockout
Classic gameplay not enough? Try the knockout - a variant of the game where points are added up. When the first player gets rid of their cards, the others add up to the numbers on their cards. Record the score in the accompanying notebook. Players with 100 or more points are out of the game! The player who stays in the game the longest wins.
